Hostin.tech is responsible for the information collected through this website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to steeves@hostin.tech.
What is collected and why
If you join Field Notes, Hostin.tech collects your email address and consent record to send the newsletter. To protect forms and show imagery from abuse, the site also uses a temporary pseudonymous fingerprint of the network address — never the address itself. Expired counters are removed by subsequent protected requests. The site does not sell subscriber information.
Providers and retention
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. It may process technical connection data and set a strictly necessary security cookie. Pseudonymous abuse counters are stored in Cloudflare D1 and expire automatically; security logs are retained only under the service’s configured settings and limits. HubSpot manages Field Notes delivery and subscriptions. Subscriber records are kept while you remain subscribed and for the limited period needed to demonstrate or resolve consent, suppression and compliance requests.
Tour dates come from Bandsintown and verified public archives. If the server-side feed is incomplete, the browser may request public dates directly from Bandsintown, which then receives normal technical connection data. When you open a show card, some public archive images may also be loaded from their original host. Hostin.tech sends neither provider a navigation referrer.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You may also ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent by emailing the address above. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
